Russia offers shelf development technologies to Mexico
MEXICO CITY, Oct 24 (PRIME) -- Russia has suggested its own technologies for hydrocarbon shelf production to Mexico, Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov said late on Monday at a session of the Russian business mission to Mexico.
“We are actively working on creation of unique technologies and equipment for production and transportation of hydrocarbons in the shelf zones and we suggest you consider using these developments in joint production of energy with participation of our Russian companies,” he said.
Russia is also interested in setting up different assembly capacities in Mexico. “Mexico has a strong trade position and economic relations, that is why we are suggesting a thorough study of a proposal to localize production in the high-technology spheres like pharmaceuticals and car industry here,” he said.
Mexico and Russia also agreed to expand their cooperation in agriculture, he said.
